Regional Growth Plans for Victoria

The final regional growth plan for Victoria was released by the Victorian State Government today.

This completes the eight plans that were promised to provide the framework and strategic thinking ahead for all areas outside of the Melbourne metropolitan area.

These plans have been designed to manage the growth and development of our regional areas to 2041 and beyond. The plans take into account the economic interest, environmental concerns, and socio and cultural issues within each region. They seek to ensure the protection and management of key natural reserves and rural and land resources, while allowing for continued sustainable growth.
